Confidence Foldable Stow Away Exercise Bike
Posted on September 6th, 2008 at 11:48 pm by healthcarenow and
I am enjoying this bike a great deal. It doesn’t take up too much room, although the “stow away” aspect of it was not as impressive as I was hoping–when you fold it up, you save maybe 1 foot of room. But that’s okay because it’s still a pretty skinny device. I keep it in the closet and roll it out every day–I wouldn’t say it’s light (it’s about 40 lbs) but it’s not hard to maneuver. Assembly was not that difficult. All in all, a great bike for getting some exercise while doing other things (I watch TV, read, or play a game on my Nintendo DS).
Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum, Concentrated Amino-Peptide Complex

I know most people who use this product are women, but I must say that I am a 30 year old male that has been using this product now for about three weeks. My skin is noticeably smoother and more even-toned. I don’t really have wrinkles to speak of, but I do notice a wonderful glow and softness to my skin that I have never had before. Additionally, the area around my eyes seems more toned and firm. I’ve tried many products and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to find that Olay (one of the cheaper among the items I have tried) worked most effectively (and without irritating my VERY sensitive skin).
Sahale Snacks, Variety Pack of 6 Flavors
Posted on September 1st, 2008 at 6:32 pm by healthcarenow and
While the flavor is unique, overall it was a BIG MISTAKE to order these.
Three of the five packets of nuts were rancid! To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have had problems with the freshness of food products purchased from Amazon.
What about the other two non-rancid packets? I got through one in a few days, and I was working on the other … then I realized I had a major head-fog, you know, like a hangover, but without having had anything to drink. I gave up the nuts & it went away. For me, that’s a tell-tale sign of additives in food. Not a good choice for someone with allergies & chemical sensitivities. Hardly a product that could be considered “natural”. That must be the innocuous “spices” listed as an ingredient.
I purchased this on a SD recommendation. But it was a complete & utter waste of money for me. And, did I say 5 packs … Yes. I received 5, not a pack of 6 as decribed here.
My recommendation … try one pack (I think they are available at Target) before buying them all. If you have chemical sensitivities or allergies, you just might stay away entirely.
MyoTape Body Tape Measure
Posted on August 31st, 2008 at 6:32 am by healthcarenow and

Gets the job done.
This measuring tape is very easy to use by yourself. If you are wanting to measure your arms, just extend the tape out in a big loop, then slide the plastic nub at the end of the tape into it’s notch. Stick your arm through the loop, and press the button in the center. It’s that easy. If you do it like I do it, you can measure without flexing first..get your measurement, and then flex, and get the new measurement. You dont have to redo the tape, it just pulls out a little more for ya.
I only have 2 gripes about this. The first one is minor. I wish the plastic nub at the end of the tape had a rubber lining. Because the notch is plastic also. And plastic against plastic tends to slide. So instead of firmly being in place in the notch, it can slide out sometimes. So I’ve learned to just hold the nub firmly while pressing the center button to tighten the tape. The second gripe would have to be the tape itself. It’s not bad, but it could be a better quality. Mine had a fold in it. I’m guessing the measurer had been in the package for a bit. So I had to rub the fold out. Not that big of a deal, but it just irked me some.
But if you want a cheap measuring tape, then you should give this puppy a try.
AcneFree Clear Skin Treatments, 3-Step Kit

i tried this product as a less expensive alternative to the proactive system. i was very disappointed. the face wash was creamy and didn’t leave my face feeling very clean while the repairing lotion was gritty and had to be applied with a cotton ball. with the proactive system it’s the opposite - the face wash is gritty and the repairing lotion is smooth. in addition, it didn’t work as well in clearing up acne as proactive. trust me - spend the extra money and buy proactive. it’s definately worth it.
Pearlessence Spa Mist Air Therapy Fountain Mister
Posted on August 22nd, 2008 at 10:14 am by healthcarenow and
Ever since seeing one of the fountain misters at a fair, I wanted one. However, this company also makes a variety of effective mist producing fountains in sizes that are more acceptable in a small office environment.
The SpaMist professional quality diffuser works well in the office or at home. It is small enough to fit on your desk and makes less noise than the hum of your computer. The calming LED lights automatically change the color display. You can opt out of the color if you wish and only experience the mist. I find the colors to be very soothing, like color therapy.
To add essential oils, I just poured in about six drops of my current favorite. Sweet Orange worked very well and instantly diffused into the room. When you pour in the water, the mist (not hot like steam, so very safe) starts automatically. There is a bubbling (like a mini fountain) so the lid keeps the water from splashing on your desk. If you put your face or hand near the unit, all you feel is a cool feathery mist.
Over time you may notice your skin isn’t feeling as dry and you feel calmer because your environment is more friendly and nurturing. The use of essential oils can create a wide variety of moods from energizing to relaxing. Since this unit turns off automatically when the water level drops below the water level sensor, this is perfect to use at night when falling asleep.
Some ideas for essential oils:
Mood enhancing/anger relief: Rose Relaxation/Sleep: Lavender Energizing: Orange/Peppermint Colds: Eucalyptus/Fir/Myrtle/Rosemary Romantic: Ylang Ylang/Egyptian Musk/Rose/Patchouli/Sandalwood/Jasmine/Neroli Dreams: Sandalwood/Juniper/Bergamot/Spruce Spiritual: White Lotus Holiday: Cinnamon/Clove/Pine Winter: Cedar/Pine/Spruce
Normally during the winter I boil water on the stove with rosemary or other herbs to scent the house or to cleanse and humidify the air. This unit makes it much safer because I sometimes forget the water it boiling and with this unit, if you forget to add more water, it shuts itself off. This gives me much more peace of mind and I’m accomplishing the same results with essential oils.
Mr. Z Premium Beef Jerky Original Flavor, 4-Ounce Bags
Posted on August 18th, 2008 at 1:36 am by healthcarenow and
I was very impressed by the quality of the cuts that went into this jerky. The strips are not the highly processed Slim Jim cuts but obviously slices from real pieces of meat. I have only had the Original flavor but it was very pleasant, it is fairly understated for jerky, just a hint of salt and spices.
Each bite gives you a flavor burst of delicious beef taste. The pieces are tender and perfect bite sized. Mr. Z original flavor is definitely a high end product that is extremely satisfying. I enjoyed it because it was not too tough or dry. I do not like jerky that is so dry that is seems to suck all the moisture out of your mouth as you try to chew it.
The original style has a nice flavor that compliments its texture. It is not overly smoky, but still flavorful. Quite enjoyable. The whole family liked this one.
Only one change is needed; the bag needs a zip top so that you can reseal the bag.
Earth Mama-Angel Baby Angel Baby Bottom Balm

I cannot say enough good things about this product. I love that it is made with all natural ingredients. I also love that it heals up a diaper rash nice and quick and is also so gentle on the baby’s skin. I do not limit this ointment to diaper rashes only. I also use it on cuts and scrapes and other bang ups too. It really smells nice too. I love it.
Healthcare Yoga Lift Relaxation Station

This was one of the best personal well-being investments I’ve ever made. I try to use it every night just before bed, and it really does help me sleep like a baby. Have had chronic neck and shoulder/trapezius stiffness and tightness for years, which have pretty much subsided ever since I started using this nifty little device.
Love that it comes fully assembled, you just take it out of the box and unfold it…ta da! Nice solid build quality—I guess the manufacturer/distributor didn’t want anyone to sue them, lol.
Am recommending this for all my friends and family. Unless you’re 5 or 10 years old, doing a normal headstand, even with a wall supporting you, is much much harder. I was able to progress from 30 seconds at a time to 5 minutes at a time within a week (use a cooking countdown timer), and hope to work up to the maximum recommended inversion time of 12 minutes within the end of the month.
btw, you can get this same bench for twenty five bucks plus ten bucks ground shipping at gadgetuniverse dot com.
